Tapered Screw-Vent Implant System: Tapered Implant Body and Triple-lead Threads

Initial stability for immediate restorations

With multi-lead threads, tapered bodies and soft and dense bone surgical protocols, the Tapered Screw-Vent Implant System is designed to achieve high primary stability.

Tapered Implant Body

When the tapered implant is inserted into a straight, undersized osteotomy, bone is compressed resulting in enhanced primary stability. The tapered body also facilitates implant placement between convergent roots, in areas with labial concavities and in immediate extraction sites.

Triple-lead Threads

Three independent, external threads start 120 degrees apart and spiral around the implant body at a steeper angle than conventional implant threads. Each 360-degree turn seats the implant 1.8mm instead of the 0.6mm of standard threads. This allows for full seating of an implant in a third of the time.
  • High primary stability enables immediate restorations and single-tooth immediate loading of Tapered Screw-Vent1-3 and Zimmer One-Piece Implants where indicated and clinically appropriate
  • Soft Bone surgical protocol compresses bone to provide additional stability in poor quality sites3
  • In dense bone, the stepped finishing drill allows apical engagement for initial stability3
